Meet the Team
Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a graduate of the University of Illinois. I love the work I do, and I don’t take lightly the trust it takes to sit across from someone and tell the truth about your life.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m usually reading a good book, out on a run, listening to Taylor Swift on repeat, or spending time with my kids and family. I believe in growth, honesty, and the kind of conversations that leave you feeling lighter and clearer than when you walked in.
My style in therapy is warm, collaborative, and real. I’ll sit with you in the hard stuff, help you untangle patterns, and gently challenge you when you’re ready. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start — you just have to be willing to show up.
As a therapist, I specialize in supporting pre-teens, teens, and individuals dealing with ADHD, depression, postpartum, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. I approach therapy with openness and pure honesty, believing that a genuine therapeutic relationship fosters the most meaningful change. The truth is sometimes hard to hear, but it’s an important part of healing. My practice is grounded in an eclectic approach, allowing me to draw from a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether you’re seeking clarity, relief, or growth, my goal is to work collaboratively with you to achieve results.
My name is Cayla, and I’m a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Illinois and a graduate of the University of Illinois. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, adults, and couples across a variety of settings, which has shaped a flexible and compassionate approach to care. I understand that every person’s story is unique, and I strive to meet you exactly where you are in your journey.
My goal is to provide support that feels genuine, warm, and centered around your personal goals. I specialize in therapy with kids, adults, and couples, and I believe therapy should feel like a safe, comfortable space where you can show up as yourself—something more cozy and inviting than clinical or intimidating. Building a trusting relationship is at the heart of the work I do, and I value creating an environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
When I’m not in the office, I’m usually busy chasing my toddler girls, signing up for races to stay active, or adding to my ever-growing “to be read” list. I love sunshine, a good burst of energy from a cold drink, and finding small moments of joy in the everyday.
Hope to connect soon!
